The BMW PGA Championship lived up to all expectations last year with Alex Noren beating Adrien Saddier in spectacular style after going to playoffs. The Tournament wowed crowds from the 9th to 14th September, with visitors once again getting another exceptional week of golf, but this year is predicated to be bigger and even better than last year. Now in its 22nd year, BMW will continue its partnership with the DP World Tour, showcasing the latest models including the new BMW i3, alongside the all-new BMW iX5 and flagship BMW i7, as well as a range of BMW M powered cars.

Last year, Alex Noren (Swedish) secured his second BMW PGA Championship title after making a birdie at the first play-off hole to finally see off Adrien Saddier (French) following an enthralling final round. With nothing to separate the pair after a thrilling back-nine battle, a play-off was required to pick a winner. Noren, whose closing 68 contained five birdies and a single bogey, was delighted with his victory as he became the most successful Swedish professional golfer in DP World Tour history.
"So many emotions right now. In the play-off it felt maybe a little bit easier than coming down the 72nd hole - a little bit better conditions," Noren said.
"This tournament is unbelievable. I told all the guys that I play with in the States to come over here. I think it's one of the best tournaments in the whole world."

The star-studded celebrity Pro-Am will run again at Wentworth on Wednesday 16th September ahead of four exciting tournament days. BMW owners will, once again, get to enjoy exclusive benefits, including access to the Owners Terrace and fast track security entry. Live performances from Ella Eyre, DJ Tony Perry and Saturday headline act The Kooks will be building that festival atmosphere that is always present at Wentworth.
Visitors will be able to explore an enhanced BMW Village, featuring immersive brand experiences, interactive activations and a dedicated personalisation station for BMW owners. The Village will be centred around the new BMW i3 and BMW iX5, while premium hospitality and product showcases across the venue will bring the future of BMW mobility to life.
DRIVING FOR CHARITY.
In 2025, the BMW PGA Championship was proud to support the Golf Foundation, a registered charity dedicated to introducing children to the game of golf, regardless of their background. Last year, we raised £65,500 from activations in the Village, such as chipping challenges and the mega putt.
The Golf Foundation believes that golf can transform lives and works tirelessly to bring simplified versions of the game to schools and community groups. By connecting children with golf clubs, they teach both playing and transferable life skills, ensuring that young people can continue enjoying and playing the game for years to come. The charity strives to help children experience the health, social, and recreational benefits of golf, while also supporting golf clubs to create safe, inclusive, and welcoming environments for everyone.
