With a range up to 500 miles¹ and up to 400 kW² charging power, the new BMW iX3 xDrive50 sets new standards in the fully electric SUV segment. The innovative BMW Panoramic iDrive takes intuitive operation and driver orientation to a new level. With the BMW Heart of Joy and optimised driver assistance systems, a new level of driving pleasure is achieved.

The front of the BMW iX3 announces the car’s presence. Its clear geometry, defined by precise, minimalist lines, is accentuated by the optional BMW kidney Iconic Glow, making a confident first impression. The automatic door handles blend in almost seamlessly, complementing the lightness of the design.

Space where you need it. Front and rear.

The luggage compartment of the BMW iX3 offers a generous capacity of up to 1,750 litres with the rear seats folded down. There is also 58 litres of additional space beneath the bonnet, where the charging cable can be securely stored and easily accessed.

In the BMW iX3, comprehensively optimised systems contribute to this. The new sixth-generation 800-volt drive and battery technology⁴ is decisive in this regard. This further enhances the feeling ultimate driving machine.

The BMW iX3 offers an impressive range, allowing you to drive up to 500 miles¹ (WLTP) on a full battery.

The BMW iX3 offers the fastest charging experience yet. With a maximum charging power of 400 kW², the BMW iX3 50 xDrive can deliver up to approx. 192-231 miles² of additional range in optimal conditions in just 10 minutes.

The BMW iX3 combines familiar SAV proportions with low aerodynamic drag, boosting efficiency while retaining all the space and comfort you expect.

If desired, the BMW iX3 can calculate the most efficient route for your journey, including charging stops. It considers factors such as charging prices and personal preferences such as charge point operators.

The BMW iX3 is prepared for future support of bidirectional charging⁹. This will allow it to act as an energy store at home together with a compatible home charger, or as a power bank while on the road.

Frequently asked questions on the BMW iX3.

When charging at a charging station with 400 kW² of charging power, the range of the new BMW iX3 50 xDrive increases by up to 192-231 miles²^,⁴ in just 10 minutes. It charges from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes². With 11 kW² of charging power, this takes 11:00 hours².

Your BMW iX3 50 xDrive has clever ways of reducing the charging time. If you set a public charging station as your destination in the navigation system, it will pre-condition the battery. The intelligent charging flap opens automatically when you want to charge. It also closes automatically when you remove the charging plug.

In future, the BMW iX3 50 xDrive will support bidirectional charging⁹. This will allow it to act as an energy store at home together with an optional BMW Wallbox Professional, or as a mobile power bank while on the road.

The BMW iX3 is designed for improved efficiency with an electric range of up to 500 miles (WLTP)¹. It will also support advanced charging solutions, including bidirectional charging⁹ in the future. With the revolutionary BMW Panoramic iDrive display and operating concept, the BMW iX3 features a 17.9-inch high-resolution central display in Free-cut design. The new BMW Panoramic Vision presents individually customizable content visually across the entire width of the windshield. The new, optional BMW 3D Head-Up Display presents precise 3D visualizations of key driver information.

Additionally, the BMW iX3 includes driver assistance features to support safer and more comfortable journeys. The newly developed Heart of Joy enhances driving dynamics, while the open and spacious interior provides generous storage space.

The BMW iX3 50 xDrive measures 1,635 mm in height, 1,895 mm in width and 4,782 mm in length. It weighs 2,360 kg (depending on configuration). The luggage compartment has a capacity of up to 1,750 litres, with an additional 58 litres provided in the storage space beneath the bonnet (measured according to VDA standard).
