Wentworth Club, Surrey.

The BMW PGA Championship returned in 2017 and BMW was once again proud to be the title sponsor of the prestigious event on the European Tour schedule. As one of the most recognised events in the world of professional golf and a highlight of the European sporting calendar, the BMW PGA Championship provided entertainment and activities for all, live concerts, and a star-studded Wednesday Pro-Am.
Being the first event in the new look Rolex Series with a completely redesigned course, the BMW PGA Championship was the most unmissable tournament yet.

This year, the PGA giants of the golfing world descended upon a revamped Wentworth Club, where they vied for their own space in the history books. Past winners include Seve Ballesteros, Sir Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer and Ian Woosnam.

The next generation of golfers were keen to make their mark. Matthew Fitzpatrick, Tyrrell Hatton, Thomas Pieters, Brandon Stone and Tommy Fleetwood are just some of the names that took to the big stage to claim one of the most sought-after titles outside of the Majors.

Visitors could take a step away from the action on course and get social in the BMW Championship Village, where merchandise shops and food and drink at the Theatre of Food and the BMW Owners’ Lounge could be found. There was also the opportunity to take part in various activities, including the 100-foot Totally Mega Putt Challenge.

Some of our most iconic BMW vehicles were available in designated areas in the village. Visitors were welcomed by the BMW M4 CS, and were also able to explore our M vehicles, iPerformance vehicles, 5 Series models, as well as a range of other vehicles.

Noren's bogey-free round included eight birdies and an eagle three at the 18th hole, meaning that he beat Italy's Francesco Molinari to victory by just a mere two strokes.
