What is a Run-flat tyre?

Run-flat Tyres enable you to continue driving when you have a puncture. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring device (installed on the vehicle) informs you of the puncture, but instead of stopping, you can drive on at a reduced speed, 50mph for 50 miles range. This means:

•No stopping on the hard shoulder or other dangerous spots
•Reduced risk of an accident as there’s no sudden loss of tyre pressure
•You can continue to important appointments without delay
•No spare wheel or jack needed inside the car
