Sun protection glassOption 420 and 761 differ only by naming, this provides Sun Protection Glazing with a light transmittance value range of 18 42% and shading of 58 82%. This would be for windows behind the B-pillar (i.e. the rear-side windows and rear screen), plus glass sun-roof. Unfortunately we dont have the precise figure per model and different glass suppliers may have different values within the range.
The front screen and front-side windows would have a light transmittance of 78 +/- 2 %.
For information the government advice on legal limits for light transmission states:
Vehicles first used on 1 April 1985 or laterThe front windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows must let at least 70% of light through. There are no rules for tinting the rear windscreen or rear passenger windows.
