Played a week before The Open Championship, the Scottish Open is one of the most keenly contested championships on the European Tour calendar. First played in 1972, the tournament has been held at a number of prestigious courses including Downfield, St Andrews, Haggs Castle, Gleneagles, Carnoustie, Loch Lomond, Castle Stuart, Royal Aberdeen and Gullane before moving to its current home at Dundonald Links in 2017.
Only Ian Woosnam and Ernie Els have won multiple Scottish Open titles, with Woosnam winning twice at Gleneagles and once at Carnoustie, and both of Els' victories coming at Loch Lomond.
BMW are proud to be the Official Courtesy Car Service provider to the Scottish Open.
