With an ever-changing world and climate, BMW actively pursues reducing emissions across all of its vehicles, and the Saloons are no exception. Always pushing the boundaries with emissions research and development, the efficiency breakdowns are as follows:
The 3 Series Saloon has an urban mpg of 27.2 - 61.4, an extra urban mpg of 46.3 - 85.6, and a combined mpg of 36.7 - 148.7 with CO2 emissions of 179 - 44 g/km.
The 5 Series Saloon has an urban mpg of 29.7 - 64.2, an extra urban mpg of 47.8 - 78.4, and a combined mpg of 39.2 - 141.2 and CO2 emissions of 164 - 46 g/km.
The 7 Series Saloon has an urban mpg of 24.8 - 51.4, an extra urban mpg of 45.6- 67.3, a combined mpg of 34.9 - 134.5 and CO2 emissions of 189 - 49 g/km.
With BMW signature technologies, such as BMW EfficientDynamics and the ECO Drive system, we’re progressing at a rapid rate. By not only thinking about the engine’s emissions, but also how we design and build the whole car, efficiency is the cornerstone of a BMW Saloon. Improved aerodynamics, lightweight construction and hybrid technology has reduced CO2 emissions by up to 33%.
