Irrespective of which engine you opt for in the BMW X5, there’s one thing you can be sure of: maximum driving pleasure, combined with the utmost efficiency.

BMW TwinPower Turbo V8 petrol engine.

The BMW TwinPower Turbo V8 petrol engine in the xDrive50i with two parallel turbochargers with Valvetronic, double-Vanos and High Precision Injection is the pinnacle of the range. It delivers maximum torque of 650 Nm across a rev range from 1,750 to 4,500 rpm. It achieves impressive acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.0 seconds with a cool 330 kW (450 hp) output. And thanks to High Precision Injection (HPI), maximum efficiency is maintained thanks to precisely-measured doses of fuel that are injected into the combustion chamber. As well as amazing performance, it also offers remarkable fuel consumption of 27.2 mpg and CO2 emissions of 244 to 242 g/km.
