If you lock yourself out of your vehicle or can’t remember if your vehicle is locked, BMW Remote Services is here to help.
All it takes is a call to our BMW Assist Information Centre and they can remotely lock or unlock your vehicle. For peace of mind, the security details are set up by you in your own BMW Assist portal, so only you can request this service.
Alternatively, you can use My BMW Remote App which allows you to lock and unlock your car with your mobile. Additional App features include remote headlight flash and vehicle location finder.
 

Driver Profile Transfer.

With BMW Driver Profiles you can transfer personal driver settings such as seat position and contact data from one BMW to another. A total of 160 different settings can be individually saved and transferred.
You can either save your profile data onto a USB stick or transfer them via BMW Online by selecting Settings – Profile – Export Profile. To import the data, insert the USB stick into the glove compartment and select Settings – Profile – Import Profile. This process also applies for transferring data via BMW Online.

This system allows you to lock, unlock and start your BMW without having to hold the key in your hand. When you have the key fob on you, simply touch the door handle or boot lid and the BMW unlocks or locks as required by transmitting an identification signal to the vehicle. Similarly, a touch of the Start-Stop button is all it takes to start the engine.
On certain models, Comfort Access also includes a smart opening function for the boot which is particularly useful when you have your hands full.
