GOODWOOD FESTIVAL
OF SPEED 2017.

BMW was once again ecstatic to be an official partner of Goodwood Festival of Speed. The eagerly awaited event is famous for giving fans a glimpse of Motorsport’s most historic and iconic moments. With the theme of ‘Peaks of Performance – Motorsport’s Game-Changers’, fans and drivers alike waited with baited breath for this year's action.

THE PLACE TO BE – THE BMW PAVILION.

This year, BMW went all out to make sure that fans got the most out of their day. The BMW Pavilion had a range of products on display including BMW M, xDrive and i. Throughout the event, fans could:

• Engage with a selection of 10 model cars and discover BMW in a digital way

• Take part in the M Driving Experience Gaming Wall

• Have the chance to meet BMW Friends of the Brand who were interviewed on the stand and signed autographs throughout the day

• Create their own flipbook to take away as a keepsake from the day

• Explore the British Touring Car Championship with the WSR Team BMW actual race car

• Treat themselves with a visit to the BMW Lifestyle shop with 10% off any purchase for all BMW owners

• Relax in the BMW Owners’ Lounge with a complimentary tea, coffee or water

CLASSICS AND SUPERCARS.

The Hillclimb is a staple of Goodwood years passed and 2017 was no different. Current models and historic classics lined up at the bottom of the Hill to make their mark on one of British Motorsport’s most iconic Hillclimbs.
Some of the BMW vehicles that competed in the iconic Goodwood Hillclimb were: 
  • F1 Brabham BMW BT52
  • BMW V12 LMR
  • BMW 328 Touring Coupé
  • M4 CS 
  • BMW i8

MORE THAN JUST HORSEPOWER.

The BMW Stable Yard was another highlight on this year’s agenda. With the showcase of the BMW 8 Series Concept Car guests were able to explore the ‘Story of 8’. There was a host of vehicles on display, including the BMW M760Li, the new BMW Art Car designed by John Baldessari, BMW i8 Memphis and a selection of special historic cars. Guests had the opportunity to listen in on interviews and soak up the atmosphere with a Gin or Whiskey from the BMW Stable Yard’s bar.

BMW i and iPerformance.


BMW were proud to once again be involved in the Moving Motor Show where guests could get close to BMW i and i Performance models, ahead of the infamous Goodwood Hillclimb in the Moving Motor Show area. A lucky few also had the chance to test drive the BMW i3 and BMW 530e.
We are already looking forward to returning to Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2018. As soon as it becomes available, we will update this page with further information.
