 EfficientDynamics.
Auto Start-Stop and ECO PRO mode become standard on the new BMW 7 Series. These combine with engine enhancements and an upgrade to the transmission from 6-speed automatic to 8-speed automatic, delivering an exceptional reduction in CO2 emissions of up to 25% (excluding the 760Li).
 Design.
From the front the lifecycle impulse features changes to the design of the front headlights, whilst the kidney grille becomes wider and more prominent. Additionally, the large air intake is visually more dynamic and includes new chrome blades. From the rear, the lights are darker and the reflectors are thinner with a connecting chrome strip.
 Driving Experience.
Various technical measures have been introduced to improve the vehicle ride comfort and vehicle acoustics have been enhanced with a number of changes including additional sound insulation.
 Full Hybrid Technology.
Full hybrid technology is now available in both standard wheelbase and long wheelbase models, providing two power sources which combine perfectly to deliver uncompromised BMW dynamics with silent electrical driving.
 ConnectedDrive.
The enhanced multi-media interface is quicker with improved graphics. There are also changes to the navigation system with quicker route calculations and enhanced task bars and a new pie menu.
